Paul warned Timothy in his letter, giving him several charges: – Avoid fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions rather than Godly edifying which is in Faith. – Hold faith in a good conscience, which some having put away concerning faith have made their faith shipwreck, among whom are Hymeneus and Alexander. – Walk in Charity after a pure heart, and a good conscience, and of faith; avoiding idle talk. – Pray for your leaders that you can lead a quite and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty. .. and many more that Paul gave concerning widows, apostacy, qualifications for pastors and deacons, which we will get to in a future message.
